John Wayne Cancer Foundation
is partnering with KB4C for 2008 in a huge way! In addition to event support, they are providing athletes with Team Duke packets, sunscreen, and quick-dry Asics water jersies for the 6-hour Kite Derby Endurance Race. JWCF embraces the passion and energy in the kiteboarding community and action sports in general to do something good in the world... and we like that!
How to Donate
1. Donate directly to KB4C:
Donate securely online with a credit card using the PayPal button below. It will take you to PayPal's secure payment server where you can donate any amount of your choice.You can also mail donations to the address at the bottom of this page. Contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Kiteboarding 4 Cancer is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, IRS tax ID #42-1737854. We fund our event and charities solely through tax-deductible contributions from private individuals, corporations and foundations. Donations to Kiteboarding 4 Cancer go to fund our Kite 4 Kids day and the KB4C event.
2. On behalf of a Kiteboarding participant for the Kite Derby:
If you are donating on behalf of a participating kiteboarder, simply go to http://www.active.com/donate/kb4c2008 and select the participant's name from the "View Fundraising Pages" drop-down menu. Here you can donate any amount to his/her cause. Donations to KB4C Derby participants fund the John Wayne Cancer Foundation for cancer research and awareness.
3. Donate Auction items & services to KB4C:
We are excited to accept donations for the KB4C Silent Auction fundraiser. Please contact Tonia Farman to donate products and services for the auction and/or the Kite Derby event. Donations to the silent auction fund Celilo Cancer Center, a world-class alternative and holistic treatment center in The Dalles that provides healing services to personalize and humanize cancer treatments. Truly an amazing facility!
