

Register to compete in all KB4C's events and contests by signing up as an athlete fundraiser. Simply set up an online fundraising page through KB4C's online fundraising tool on http://www.active.com/donate/kb4c2008 .
Then, raise money for KB4C and the John Wayne Cancer Foundation through your KB4C online fundraising page by emailing your friends and family through the tools active.com provides. By raising $100 or more, you will automatically be registered as a participant in the KB4C Kite Derby on August 9th, 2008. Prizes will be awarded for:
• The most money raised (top 5 finishers)
• The most number of donations received
• Kite Derby Endurance Race winners (top 3 finishers)
• Long Jump event winner
• Top female finisher
Participant Requirements: Kiteboarders must ...
• be able to launch and land safely -
• be able to ride and stay upwind -
• ride with a safety release leash for their kite -
• wear a helmet if they are riding with a board leash -
• raise at least $100 (but preferably more!) through active.com.
Athletes who raise funds are eligible for over $10,000 worth of prizes.
