John Wayne Cancer Foundation
is partnering with KB4C for 2008 in a huge way! In addition to event support, they are providing athletes with Team Duke packets, sunscreen, and quick-dry Asics water jersies for the 6-hour Kite Derby Endurance Race. JWCF embraces the passion and energy in the kiteboarding community and action sports in general to do something good in the world... and we like that!
Volunteer
Kiteboarding 4 Cancer raised over $65,000 in its first year and we hope to do that again this year! In order for this event to be a success, we need volunteers for the following roles:
• Waverunner or boat support
• Registration
• Event setup
• Silent Auction
• Collecting silent auction donations
Please contact Tonia Farman or Garret Zallen to be a volunteer.
Not only is this event personally rewarding to be involved with, but we like to reward our volunteers with some surprises too.
